Who We Are

.
Mission Statement

Festival Players of Prince Edward County produces a yearly festival of high-calibre professional theatre in a rural setting. We produce an entirely Canadian season of plays, new works as well as those from the repertoire of outstanding previously produced work.
.
The mission of the Festival is threefold: to provide engaging and intelligent theatre for its audience both local and ‘imported’, to provide employment opportunities to local and imported artists and to provide meaningful and unique opportunities for the people of our community to work with a group of professional artists to bring theatre to life.  We feel strongly that theatre is a vital part of the cultural fabric of this community and that the practice of professional theatre can provide local youth with hands-on, real-life training experience.
