Ticket-takers & Ushers Needed

We are recruiting ticket-takers and ushers for the 2011 season! Consider volunteering a night at each show. It’s a great way to contribute and you’d get to see all three shows for free!

Volunteers are an integral part of our organization here at Festival Players and we just couldn’t do it without your help. And it’s a great opportunity for high school students to complete their volunteers hours for graduation.

Host an artist!

Opening night is just over a month away and the visiting portion of our cast and crew will be making their way to County in the middle of June. A number of our company members are theatre professionals who live elsewhere (Ottawa, Montreal, Toronto) during the year. Festival Players has typically housed these performers in the homes of some most generous and friendly folks, in a volunteer billeting arrangement. This is where you come in!

Festival Players company members are looking for billeting arrangements lasting 3-6 weeks from the middle of June to August 27th. All they require is a private room and access to a kitchen to prepare meals. We are particularly looking for centrally-located spaces like Picton, but anywhere in the County may work. If you have a spare room in your house, or a residence you aren’t using during any portion of that timeframe, we would love to hear from you.
