EVENTS AT THE STUDIO THEATRE
Festival Players’ Studio Theatre is available to rent for events of all kinds. Our intimate 60-seat performance space is perfect for small scale theatre productions, music concerts, lectures, readings, receptions and meetings. Longer-term pop-up retail or art gallery use is also an option. Rentals can include use of the lobby/bar and library as well as dressing room facilities. The theatre is accessible, including washrooms, with parking on site and in a nearby lot. Festival Players can also provide ticketing services.
Every rental is different and will have different considerations – contact us to discuss your idea and we’ll work with you to develop a budget and plan.
Hourly and weekly/long-term rates are available. Additional fees will apply depending on the nature of your event and the services you require.
Please note the theatre has very limited availability in the months of July, August and September.

The Festival Players box office and new Studio Theatre Shop is open at 312 Main Street inside the Studio Theatre.
The Studio Theatre Shop, curated by Edward Pickering of SHED Chetwyn Farms will feature local hand-made products, fine art, and theatre-related merchandise and will be open six days a week during the summer, including availability for pre- and post-show shopping. The Studio Theatre lobbies will also house two art shows curated by Craig Alexander of Sybil Frank gallery.
The Studio Theatre Shop, located at the entrance to the Festival Players Studio Theatre in downtown Wellington, is an intimate space curated with theatre patrons in mind.
Ceramics, glass, textiles and metal arts from the County and further abroad are showcased along with an eclectic assortment of hand-made greeting cards, gifts for children, and a small assortment of local preserves including honey, maple syrup and other comestibles. All this and more will be showcased in the light filled shop adjoining the theatre bar and library.
