Melody A. JohnsonActor - Person of Interest

    Having performed from Brantford to Singapore, favourite theatre credits include:
    7 Stories/ Theatre Calgary/CanStage (recent Betty Mitchell award nomination), Trout Stanley/
    Factory Theatre, Our Town/Two Planks and a Passion Theatre, Blithe Spirit/Soulpepper and
    Habeus Corpus/Canstage, It’s All True, The Seven Lears, Swollen Tongues, and The
    Piper/ Necessary Angel Theatre.

    Melody is an alumna of The Toronto Second City mainstage where she has directed the
    National Touring Company, 0% Down, and their current hit Second City for Mayor. Comedic
    turns also include An Awkward Evening with Martin & Johnson with fellow alum Bob Martin
    (The Drowsy Chaperone). Numerous Dora nominations over the years and a win for the title
    role of Mercy in Little Mercy’s First Murder/Tarragon-Shaw Festival.

    Just recently Melody co created Mimi with Rick Roberts and Allen Cole for the Tarragon
    Theatre. Melody has just directed Eric Woolfe’s Medicine Show, and has just performed in the
    self penned Toronto Summerworks favourite Miss Caledonia. Melody will be reprising her
    Dora nominated role in Florence Gibson’s I Think I Can LKTYP/National Arts Centre next
