A native and life-long resident of Windsor, Michael Karloff is one of Windsor’s most active and in-demand collaborative pianists. Comfortable in any style from classical to jazz/pop, Michael performs regularly with the Windsor Symphony Orchestra, 4th Wall Music Series, Jazz at MacKenzie Hall and freelances as a jazz pianist, collaborative accompanist and musical director in both Windsor and Detroit. He currently serves on the faculty at the University of Windsor, in the School of Creative Arts, as the instructor of Jazz/Pop Piano, Jazz Combos and Advanced Skills. Michael also serves on the faculty at St. Clair College, in the Department of Music Theatre Performance, as a musical director and instructor for Music Theory and Ear Training. Michael holds a B.Mus in Jazz Studies and M.Mus in Piano Performance from Wayne State University, Detroit MI.
