This is a Canada Summer Jobs program and candidates must be under 30 years of age.

We’re looking for 2 fun, hardworking Candidates to join our amazing team this summer!

These positions require a dedicated team member who will interact with audience members, artists, and volunteers throughout their placement with County Stage as a front-line representative of the company, helping us develop positive relationships with our patrons while helping backstage to make every show a success. 

The Candidates will need to show a facility with open communication, patience and a desire to connect with our artists and our patrons. 

NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!

Specific tasks and responsibilities will include: 

  • Participating in venue set up and theatre installations including set, lighting and sound equipment under the supervision of the Production Manager. 

  • Processing ticket orders in-person at the theatre venue

  • Helping audience members in-person at the theatre venue to their seats

  • Assisting the On-Site Manager in audience and artist relations

  • Maintenance of theatre facilities during the run of show including equipment checks, assisting with wardrobe maintenance, supporting artists backstage.  

 Client service skills required to work with County Stage include:

  • Active Listening

  • Empathy

  • Positive Language

  • Knowledge of the company and our artists

  • Clear communication

These skills will be developed during training sessions and with on-going learning, practice and feedback throughout the season. Mastering these skills will allow the Candidate to become a brilliant ambassador for the company and improve their personal relationships to take on future work in any environment.
